Wine on the River expands to new location

Lehighton, Pa – Raise a glass and celebrate! Wine on the River expands to new location. Lehighton Downtown Partnership with Presenting Sponsor Home Comfort Solutions are thrilled to announce the return of the 4th Annual Wine on the River at Baer Memorial Park on Saturday, May 6. This Spring afternoon will feature a dozen wineries, food trucks, crafters and live music.

“We are excited to have Wine on the River at our new location, Baer Memorial Park,” Lehighton Main Street Manager, Bambi Elsasser said. “The larger venue gives our event a chance to grow and is more accessible for our patrons. We cannot wait to see everyone at Wine on the River!”

This year the popular event will be hosted at the lush 17-acre Baer Memorial Park from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., when the park will be filled with music, food trucks, crafters and of course wine! King Cole Winery, Clever Girl Winery, Lucchi Family Wine Cellars, Benigna’s Creek Vineyard & Winery, Talerico’s Tropical Winery, Capra Collina Vineyard, RAW Winery, Bouchette Vineyards, Sleep Cat Urban Winery, Wine & More on 1st, Stone Lake Winery and Essiem’s Apiary will serve samples and sips of their grape libations. Food trucks Greek Street, The Meating Wagon, Red Robin, RK Mobile Foods and Ridge Runner BarBQ, will sling snacks and tasty treats throughout the event. Unique crafters and vendors will set up at the park offering an opportunity to sip while you shop. Guest are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to enjoy the afternoon in comfort while listening to live music by Left Edge, Supersonic Godfathers, Autumn Falls and Damian Walck.

This year’s VIP tickets include access to the whole park, reserved seating at the VIP Tent, commemorative wine glass and tasting, hors-d’oeuvres, non-alcoholic beverages and convenient VIP wine check.

General admission tickets include access to the event, commemorative wine glass, wine tasting and free wine check.

Early bird tickets are available until Saturday, April 22. VIP experience tickets are $85/person or $150/couple. General admission tickets are $25/person. All early bid tickets holders will be automatically entered into raffle for a chance to win the ultimate Wine on The River prize- a basket featuring a bottle of vino from each winery.

Starting Sunday, April 23, VIP tickets will be $100/person or $180/couple.

General admission tickets will be $35/person.

This year Wine on the River offers a Designated Driver ticket for $15/person.
