Organized youth basketball returns this summer to the Allentown Department of Parks & Recreation.

Registration is open now through June 1. Boys’ and girls’ leagues are being offered with separate age divisions for 9-10, 11-12 and 13-15-year-olds.

League games begin on Monday, June 7 and are played at Cedar Beach, Percy Ruhe and Andre Reed parks.

Team registration is required at www.allentownparksandrec.com.  Organizations, if they have not already done so, will need to create an account, receive approval, and then register their team before the start of the program.

The league will follow Pennsylvania Department of Health and CDC guidelines to make activities as safe and fun as possible for all participants.
