OREFIELD, PA (7/21/20) – On July 28, 2020, Valley Youth House (VYH) will begin summer 2020 programming at Camp Fowler. Nature offers restorative, stress-reducing benefits, and the outdoor experiences at Camp Fowler do just that. Here, a team led by a Master’s level clinician use therapeutic, challenge-based programming to promote positive development in a way that is not likely to occur in a conventional setting. Campers experience breakthroughs and healing, resulting in behavioral changes that lead to their future growth.
Valley Youth House will be hosting day camps on the following days:
- LGBTQ+ Camp – July 28, 29 & 30
- Arts Camp – August 4, 5 & 6
- STEM camp – August 11,12 & 13
Valley Youth House is licensed under the Department of Human Services (DHS). Camp Fowler will reopen and begin to operate under the guidance of DHS and the Center of Disease Control (CDC). VYH will continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and update any guidelines/recommendations set forth by DHS or the CDC. VYH has implemented Key Areas of Focus to ensure safety to all campers and families.
Key areas of focus:
- New Drop-off and Pick-up procedure with health screenings.
