Register by June 20 to receive your kit in time
CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — In response to continued COVID-19 mitigation efforts, Penn State Lehigh Valley Continuing Education has transitioned its popular summer camp programming to remote delivery. Penn State Lehigh Valley will offer two mail-home camps for families with students of all ages to enjoy asynchronously throughout the month of July.
- The Career Exploration Academy is designed to help middle- and high-school students identify their strengths and interests as they relate to potential career pathways.
- The Makerspace Challenge Camp is designed to provide engineering and design-thinking challenges for the whole family.
Both camps are $50 each. Campers must register by June 20.
“We don’t want kids missing out on our summer camp fun this year just because we can’t be in person, so these mail-home camps are great options to get kids engaged in the kinds of critical thinking and collaboration skills they‘re going to need later on in their lives,” said Nicole Moschberger, director of Penn State Lehigh Valley Writing Project, who is organizing the summer camp. “Both camps can be done at your own pace, which allows for flexibility, before coming together in an online platform to collaborate and learn from each other.”
For more information about how to register, visit the summer youth camp website or contact Nicole Moschberger at 610-285-5239 or nrm157@psu.edu.
