Lamont McClure has signed an executive order clarifying Northampton County’s position on the detainment of undocumented immigrants arrested on suspicion of or adjudicated guilty of a state criminal violation.

“Executive Order 20-28 balances the legitimate needs of the Federal Government to enforce our national immigration laws while providing the basic protections of due process that all human beings are owed in the United States,” says Lamont McClure.
