Senior Centers, Farmer’s Markets and DHS
WHEN: Distribution of coupons continues until September 26
Lamont McClure and Area Agency on Aging are pleased to announce that coupons are still being distributed for the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program. Four $5 coupons worth $20.00 will be available to Northampton County residents age 60 and over who meet the income eligibility requirements. The coupons are distributed by the Northampton County Area Agency on Aging Department.

4 people – $47,638 5 people – $55,815 6 people – $63,992
The coupons can be used to purchase food at farmer’s markets. Proof of age and residence must be presented by all persons wishing to receive coupons. Program policies allow a person to obtain coupons for another person only if they have a completed and signed proxy form. A person may only serve as proxy for up to four other participants. Identification with date of birth and address, of the older adult, must be shown when presenting a proxy.
The form will be available for pick-up at the AAA office, 2801 Emrick Boulevard, Bethlehem on Tuesdays from 8:30am – 12:00 and on Thursdays from 1:00pm – 4:40pm.
Persons may only receive coupons once during the program, which runs from June 3, 2019 until September 26, 2019.
