Giving Tuesday is just around the corner and we want you to help us make a difference in a child’s holiday this season by supporting a shoe box filled with gifts, games and toiletries.  Over 35 nonprofit organizations who serve underprivileged children and youth in our neighborhoods have requested over 7,500 shoe boxes. We STILL need more wrapped & filled shoe boxes.

Giving Tuesday is a great way to help support this program.  Every $25.00 donated provides one more child with what most often is their only holiday gift.  We have our team of volunteers that will be filling the orders for each nonprofit with donations from over 200 companies, families, clubs, schools and troops.  With all of the donations we receive, we will be supplementing the boxes and filling our highest need ever this year .

#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. The Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley is a registered nonprofit with #Giving Tuesday.

We need your help.  7,500 wrapped and filled shoeboxes is a tall order – and we know that the Lehigh Valley can rally!  EVERY shoe box benefits a child here in our community. Our HOPE is that you, your company and co-workers, your family and friends will consider participating in our program to help us reach our goal!
