(Allentown, PA) – Racing stars Marco Andretti and Corey Lewis will be burning rubber alongside local Lehigh Valley Grand Prix competitors on Sunday, February 18th. Local LVGP go-karting teams will be competing with the star-studded team of Corey Lewis, Kyle Lick, and Marco Andretti.
The LVGP500 is a 500 lap go kart endurance race held the morning of the Daytona 500. This 4 ½ hour long race is comprised of teams of 1-5 drivers, the team that completes 500 laps first, wins! There will be two classes of drivers for the competition to make it fun for everyone. There is a post-race awards ceremony, and a Daytona 500 viewing party at the Octane-Adrenaline Bar. “The LVGP500 is a unique opportunity for local racing fans to race against professional world class drivers,” states owner Mike McCreary. Fans are encouraged to come and watch this 7th Annual event. The LVGP500 will be held on February 18th from 9am to 1pm at Lehigh Valley Grand Prix.
