DORNEY PARK, Allentown, PA (May 24, 2016) – To celebrate the start of the summer, Dorney Park will be offering special promotions during Memorial Day Weekend. Wildwater Kingdom will officially open for the 2016 season on Saturday, May 28th which marks the start of daily operations that continues through Monday, September 5th. Don’t miss out on the season of fun and thrills, including cooling off on the six-slide mega complex Snake Pit!
Dorney Park’s Military Days pays tribute to the brave men and women of the armed forces and will offer a free regular admission ticket to any active or retired military personnel during the Memorial Day (May 28th – 30th) and Fourth of July (July 2nd – July 4th) weekends. Along with free admission, active and retired military will be able to purchase discount admission tickets for members of their immediate family (maximum of six) at a special rate of $27.00. To take advantage of this special appreciation offer, guests can purchase tickets online at https://www.dorneypark.com or at the Park’s ticket window. A valid military ID should be presented at the turnstile for entry into the park.
Dorney’s Dollar Days promotion will also be returning for Memorial Day Weekend. Guests can enjoy special dollar deals on good food and treats! Food and beverage dollar specials will include hot dogs, Chickie’s & Pete’s Crabfries, ICEE, ice cream cones and popcorn. There will also be special dollar offers in merchandise and games – magnets, keychains, the Climbing Challenge and Ring Toss. Guests will also be able to experience Dinos After Dark and visit the Dinosaurs Alive exhibit on Sunday, May 29th for only $1.00.
Join us Friday night for the finals of our Battle of the Bands event beginning at 6:00 PM at Center Stage! Two local bands – Water Street and Project 3² – will be competing for the opportunity to perform a 60-minute set at Musikfest and a cash prize of $400! Following Friday’s performances, fans will be able to vote for their favorite bands via Dorney Park’s website (www.dorneypark.com) and social media channels. Voting will be open Friday, May 27th at 9:30 PM through Monday, May 30th at 11:59 PM.
A spectacular fireworks display will also be presented on Saturday, May 28th beginning at 9:00 PM.
Guests can join the fun by purchasing or renewing 2016 Season Passes online or at the park for as low as six easy payments of $20.50.
