Welcoming even more artists, makers, and fiber-based artwork, the Lehigh Valley Fiber Festival returns for its ninth year. The Festival will take place at the Allentown Agri-Plex on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, Sept. 27, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $5 per day or $8 for a weekend pass, with group rates available when booked in advance.
The LV Fiber Festival offers a one-of-a-kind experience for fiber enthusiasts of all levels, featuring an expansive selection of hand-dyed yarns, finished fiber work, upcycled fiber pieces, and everything in between and appeals to all levels of expertise. The event also includes glass buttons, wood-turned tools, stitch markers, fiber-inspired watercolors, shawl pins, jewelry, and a wide array of additional hand-crafted artisan goods.
A beloved annual feature, the Fleece Sale returns with beautiful raw fleeces that showcase the story of each animal and can be purchased for personal processing. The Festival’s commitment to community continues through the Stash Bash and Make a Square stations. Attendees may donate unwanted yarn, inherited stashes, or ready-made hats, scarves, and squares. All contributions are delivered to dedicated volunteers who create warm items for community members in need and distributed to Allentown Rescue Mission and Turning Point of the Lehigh Valley. Visitors may also enjoy a peaceful moment on the festival grounds while crafting a square with yarn and tools provided.
Customer favorites—including Bitsy’s Knits, Create Yarn Works, and Cape May Fiber—will once again join the Festival. Some of our new vendors this year include Northeast Wood Workz, Quilter Emily (Hitchner), and Shakespeare’s Peddler. Artists travel from across the region including Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Virginia, Massachusetts, Maryland and as far as Wisconsin to bring exceptional fibers and handcrafted tools to Lehigh Valley fiber lovers.

Cape May Fiber, a perennial favorite from Cape May, NJ, will hand-dye mini-skeins for the Festival’s early-bird gift bags, available to the first 30 customers each day. Known for luxurious, small-batch yarns inspired by ocean life and the coastal landscape, Cape May Fiber offers stunning fibers in a wide range of weights and colors.

Another returning favorite, Create Yarnworks of Hebron, MD, brings vibrant colorways—from bold brights to soft neutrals—and offers expert guidance for fiber artists seeking inspiration. Create Yarnworks also provides fiber tools and accessories to support makers at every stage of their projects.

New this year, Northeast Wood Workz from Hadley, MA, will showcase handcrafted wood-turned tools and pens. These one-of-a-kind pieces make exceptional gifts for fiber creators—or a perfect treat for yourself as you elevate your craft. Their extraordinary pens and tools also appeal to attendees who may not work with fiber but appreciate fine craftsmanship.
The LV Fiber Festival thanks the following for the ongoing support of the festival – our amazing volunteers who give so much of their time and energy and The Knitters Edge of Bethlehem, PA; Cape May Fiber of Cape May, NJ; Create Yarnworks of Hebron, MD; and New Tripoli Bank of New Tripoli, PA.
