Recovery Home Offers Hope for Rebuilding Lives After Addiction

Victory Recovery Homes celebrates with an Open House on Friday, July 10, from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM to celebrate its new facility and expanded recovery impact throughout the Lehigh Valley.

ALLENTOWN, PA, June 26, 2026, More than 80 people lost their lives to drug overdoses in Lehigh and Northampton Counties last year, and countless others continue fighting for recovery every day. Yet for many leaving addiction rehabilitation treatment, the greatest challenge is finding a safe, structured place where recovery can continue and a new life can truly begin.

Victory Recovery Homes is helping to change that reality.

Founded in 2018, and reorganized as Victory Recovery Homes in 2023, the organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a DDAP licensed facility that provides adult men, ages 18 through 75, with a structured residential recovery program for nine to twelve months to bridge the critical gap between addiction treatment and independent living. Residents who complete the program may remain in the home, as appropriate, while continuing to strengthen their independence.

Victory Recovery Homes proudly prioritizes veterans while serving men throughout the Lehigh Valley who are committed to rebuilding their lives.

To celebrate the opening of its newly renovated residential facility, Victory Recovery Homes is hosting an Open House on Friday, July 10, from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, at 33 South 15th Street in Allentown. The Allentown Area Chamber of Commerce will host an official ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:30 PM, recognizing both the opening of the beautifully renovated residence and the organization’s growing impact throughout the Lehigh Valley.

The newly renovated residence accommodates up to 15 men in a safe, recovery focused environment where residents receive Certified Recovery Specialist support, employment readiness coaching, life skills education, peer mentorship, behavioral health referrals, community service opportunities, and the accountability needed to build lasting recovery.

“Recovery is about much more than overcoming addiction,” said Matthew Catricola, Founder and Executive Director of Victory Recovery Homes. “It’s about rediscovering dignity, rebuilding trust, strengthening relationships, and believing that your past does not have to define your future. This recovery home gives men the opportunity to build that future.”

Victory Recovery Homes has established a proven model that produces meaningful results. Approximately 75 percent of residents who complete the full program achieve positive long term recovery outcomes, secure stable employment, obtain permanent housing, and reconnect with family members. Several have returned to mentor future residents, demonstrating the lasting impact of the program.

Visitors to the Open House will have the opportunity to tour the beautiful residence, meet the Victory Recovery Homes team, learn about the structured recovery program, and discover how community partnerships, volunteers, businesses, and donors are helping to restore lives throughout the region.

As demand for recovery housing continues to increase throughout the Lehigh Valley, Victory Recovery Homes is laying the foundation for future expansion by replicating its successful residential recovery model and creating additional opportunities for men seeking a second chance.

“The transformation that happens here extends far beyond the walls of this home,” Catricola said. “Every man who achieves lasting recovery strengthens his family, contributes to the workforce, and becomes part of building a healthier community. Recovery creates a ripple effect that benefits all of us.”

The public is warmly invited to attend this special celebration.
