Astound hosted an event on June 24 at the Memorial Library of Nazareth & Vicinity, where the company unveiled the first project funded through its $300,000 community investment in technology and community resources across the Lehigh Valley.
The event brought together local officials, community leaders, library staff, and partners to celebrate $50,000 in technology upgrades at the library. Enhancements include public-use computers, accessibility tools, a community printer, and digital navigation resources designed to help expand access to learning, connectivity and essential digital resources.
As Astound’s representative, Clyde Lee III, shared in his remarks, reliable access to technology is essential for opportunity – whether for students completing schoolwork, job seekers building skills, small business owners growing their businesses, or seniors staying connected. Across the region, this broader initiative will support more than 240,000 residents through upgrades at libraries and Boys & Girls Clubs throughout the Lehigh Valley
The event also featured the Library’s “Introduction to AI” session, demonstrating how trusted community spaces can help residents engage with emerging technologies in practical and accessible ways.
