(LOWER MACUNGIE, Pa.) – Ryan Mackenzie has pledged to support term limits as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives. More specifically, as a Member of Congress, Mackenzie will cosponsor and vote for the U.S. Term Limits Amendment of three House terms and two Senate terms.
Following this announcement, Mackenzie released the following:
“Too many members of Congress are out of touch with the people they were elected to represent. Term limits would break the stranglehold these politicians have on the American people. In Congress, I’ll back term limits for elected officials as well as bureaucrats. I will also push to ban members of Congress from trading stocks based on their insider information and demand transparency in grant funding to expose their conflicts of interest.”
Chairman of U.S. Term Limits, Howard Rich, released the following:
“Ryan Mackenzie is fully committed to placing term limits on members of Congress. In Harrisburg, he is Pennsylvania’s leading champion for term limits, and now he has pledged to continue the fight as a candidate for Congress.”
