Don’t leave them at home. Furry friends are always welcome in the Historic District, especially during, Tails & Sales! This event is filled with cocktails and sales from favorite downtown merchants. Competitions and even a dog run will complete this exciting event!

The Downtown Bethlehem Association assumes no responsibility for any incidents that occur during our event. Please be sure to keep your pups on their leashes at all times.
Doggie Parade
Join us for the parade! Dress up your furry family members and show them off for each other and our judges. Participants will be judged on fashion/ costume, presentation, behavior, and use of props—extra points for special skills or tricks. Pets must be on a leash or otherwise contained and non-aggressive. Registration will open on April 14th, 2022. Registration will begin at 11:00 AM, Parade 11:30 AM -12:30 PM.
*Cost to participate: $10.00
All proceeds will go to the Center for Animal Health and Welfare
Vark & Bark Doggie Dash
Sponsored by Aardvark Sports Shop, this 1-mile race with pups is designed to bring awareness and raise money for a local nonprofit group. This run will occur on Main Street and through the Colonial Industrial Quarter. Participants will pre-register starting April 14, 2022. Race Day Registration will begin at 9:30 AM and Doggie Dash between 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. All participants will receive a “doggie bag” that includes a t-shirt, bandana, and a coupon for a beer at Lost Tavern Brewing.

Cocktail Trail
Fetch your cocktail samples from 12 participating merchants while you shop and stroll throughout the Historic District. Various water stations will be available for your pups to fill up too. Registration will take place at Hyatt Place Bethlehem from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM and the trail runs from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
* Cost to participate in the trail is $45.

About the Downtown Bethlehem Association: The Downtown Bethlehem Association (DBA) is a council of The Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce and serves to revitalize, rehabilitate, promote and advance downtown business areas within the city of Bethlehem. It is an organization comprised of business owners who believe that unity is better than isolation and involvement is better than neutrality. The DBA organizes over 100 events a year, to drive foot traffic into Bethlehem’s Historic and Southside Shopping Districts.
