Allentown School District announces the following events and activities throughout our District. Highlights include:
February 15 and 16: Conferences for Grades K-5, students in Grades K-5 ONLY Do Not Report
February 17 and 20: No School for ALL students – Presidents’ Day Holiday
- Hiram W. Dodd Elementary School – February 8; 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Grade 1 Parent Workshop for Dodd parents and guardians of students in first grade.
- Francis D. Raub Middle School – February 8 and 15; 2:45 p.m. – 4:45 p.m.: Cooking Matters meets Wednesday. Students learn about healthy nutritional choices and learn to prepare healthy meals.
- Dieruff High School – February 9; 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.: FAFSA Workshop in Room B6 for Dieruff parents, guardians and students.
- McKinley Elementary School – February 11; 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Book Blast for all McKinley families at Christ Lutheran Church, 13th and Hamilton Streets.
- Dieruff High School – February 15; 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.; 8th Grade Open House and Enrollment Night for students, parents/guardians and families of 8th Graders in Harrison-Morton and South Mountain Middle School. Come out to find out about our 9th Grade program, Dieruff student activities and programs, and tour your future high school. Refreshments will be served. Snow date: February 10, same time.
