Photos & Story by: Kimberly Kanuck
The Olympus InVision Photo Festival schedule kicked off tonight at the Banana Factory in Bethlehem. Tonight was a free event which even included an “Artist Talk” with photographer Ian Ruhter about his exhibition, Carnival of Dreams. I’ve posted of few of his pictures. I also had the pleasure of meeting one of the photographer’s, Jim Crowley, that has a piece of work displayed and will be judged in the competition. Jim is in one of my pictures featured with his work entitled, “Aboard the SS Columbia #1. There are also some resident artists at the Banana Factory. You can stop in their rooms and to view and buy their pieces. I was fortunate to meet clothing designer Lara Bly. She’s pictured here with some of her beautiful clothing.
You can purchase a Saturday pass or the weekend pass to attend the Photo Festival. This pass will grant you access to world-class photographers and their work through innovative workshops, classes and presentations.
