(LOWER MACUNGIE, PA) State Representative Ryan Mackenzie, Republican candidate for Congress in Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District today released the following statement in response to Susan Wild’s recent comments about “working-class” voters and those in Carbon County, and reiterated his demand that she resign immediately.

“As the first candidate to call out Mrs. Wild for her offensive comments – and the only candidate thus far to ask for her resignation – voters across the district, and the people of Carbon County deserve answers from Susan Wild about her dismissive attitude. “Being the only elected official in the GOP primary, I know firsthand that you are elected into office to serve the people.”  ”What Susan Wild said is just plain wrong. That is why I made my beliefs clear immediately – Susan Wild needs to apologize and should step down.”
