HARRISBURG – Following legislative redistricting that shifted the Borough of Emmaus outside of the 134th District, Rep. Ryan Mackenzie (R-Berks/Lehigh) has announced the relocation of his district office to the Lower Macungie Township Administration Building. The change will become effective Monday, Dec. 1.
“I have enjoyed serving the residents of the 134th District from my district office in Emmaus over the past two-and-a-half years,” said Mackenzie. “Due to redistricting decisions that were made prior to my coming into office, Emmaus will no longer be in the 134th District, necessitating a move. I am very sad to leave, but I am also looking forward to serving constituents in my new location in Lower Macungie.”
The new office address will be 3204 Brookside Road, Macungie. Office hours will continue to be Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. While a new office phone number has not yet been established, the current number, (610) 965-9933, will be forwarded for the foreseeable future.
A new satellite office will be opened in the Topton Borough Hall, starting Jan. 7. The office, located at 205 S. Callowhill St., Topton, will be open on Wednesdays between 9:30 a.m. and noon. No appointment is necessary. This will replace the current satellite office in the Borough of Bally, which also will be leaving the 134th District.
