TREXLERTOWN, Pa. — An evening of music, community, family fun, and world-class racing awaits fans this Friday, June 12, at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center as the Mike Budjnoski BRL All-Stars Night brings together the next generation of cycling champions, international racing stars, and a special performance by the Emmaus High School Jazz Band.
The festivities begin during Plaza Hour from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., when the Emmaus High School Jazz Band will perform live for fans entering the venue. The talented student musicians will also perform the National Anthem before racing gets underway at 7:00 p.m.
The featured attraction of the evening will be the Mike Budjnoski Bicycle Racing League (BRL) All-Stars, where the region’s top young riders demonstrate the speed, skill, determination, and sportsmanship that have made the BRL one of the nation’s premier youth cycling development programs. Fans will have the opportunity to watch tomorrow’s champions compete today as they battle for victory on the legendary T-Town track.
While the BRL All-Stars serve as the centerpiece of the evening, spectators will also enjoy a full slate of elite racing featuring track cycling stars from around the world. Highlighted International competitors include New Zealand standout Magnus Jamieson and T-Town’s own Colleen Gulick, an elite rider who started in our Community Programs, along with a talented field of athletes representing multiple countries and cycling programs.
“The BRL All-Stars Night perfectly represents what T-Town is all about,” said Valley Preferred Cycling Center Executive Director, Gary Thornton. “You can enjoy live music, watch some of the world’s best riders compete, and see the next generation of champions developing their skills on the same track—all in one unforgettable evening.”
Named in honor of longtime supporter and community advocate Mike Budjnoski, the event highlights the Valley Preferred Cycling Center’s commitment to fostering the next generation of cyclists while providing fans with exciting racing at every level of the sport.
In addition to the racing action, families can enjoy:
- Bounce houses
