Rainbow Kitten Surprise may attract listeners with its unusual name, but it gains loyal fans through innovative, genre-defying music. With more than 75 million streams across multiple digital platforms and a stunning live presence that sold out more than 45 shows on its first headline tour, the group has created a reputation that’s brought it to such notable festivals as Bonnaroo, Firefly, Sasquatch and more.
The band is comprised of North Carolina natives Sam Melo, Darrick “Bozzy” Keller, Ethan Goodpaster, Charlie Holt and Jess Haney, who weave together chilling harmonies, dynamic instrumentation and introspective lyrics to create their own style of music that falls somewhere between indie and alternative. Their influences range from Modest Mouse and Kings of Leon, to Frank Ocean and Schoolboy Q.
The ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks is located at 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem. For more information on these and all ArtsQuest Center shows, visit http://www.artsquest.org/.
