HOTEL BETHLEHEM BRINGING BACK POPULAR

“ROCKIN’ LOBSTER” EVENT FOR CELTIC CLASSIC THIS WEEKEND

Irish entertainer Seamus Kennedy to perform his lively show on Saturday afternoon.

BETHLEHEM, PASeptember 22, 2015 – Festival-goers couldn’t get enough lobster during Musikfest, so Hotel Bethlehem is bringing Maine back to Bethlehem with the return of its popular “Rockin’ Lobster on Main” lobster bake for Celtic Classic this weekend. The event was inspired by Executive Chef Michael Adams’ trip to Maine this summer. The Hotel’s signature restaurant 1741 on the Terrace will once again be transformed for the event with tables for dining, live music, and a dedicated bar.

Beginning Thursday evening September 24 and going through Sunday, September 27 guests will dine on a 1.5 lb. whole Maine lobster with mussels, shrimp, corn on the cob, and potatoes for $39.95 per person. Also available are lobster spring rolls for $13, lobster rolls, specialty cocktails, craft beers, and mug refills.

Guests who want to dine Celtic-style during the city’s weekend-long festival can instead order traditional favorites corned beef and cabbage, bangers and mash, Molly Malone fish stew and Guinness-braised short ribs as well as Baileys chocolate mousse with crushed hazelnuts and Nutella for dessert.

An event highlight will be the Saturday afternoon performance by Irish singer, songwriter, musician, comedian, and entertainer Seamus Kennedy from 3 – 5 p.m. in The Terrace. Originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, Kennedy has been entertaining audiences for almost four decades. His repertoire includes Irish music, classic Country & Western, American standards, Scottish ballads.

No matter what they are dining on guests can enjoy the view from inside the Terrace, which overlooks the Historic Bethlehem quarter, Main Street, and the Star of Bethlehem.

Live musical entertainment will be featured during Rockin’ Lobster inside The Terrace as well as outside on the patio. Local favorites The Dave Roper Trio, Craig Thatcher and Nyke Van Wyke, and Steve Brosky will perform, among others.

Advance reservations are required and can be made by calling 610-625-2219.
