EASTON PROMISE NEIGHBORHOOD HOSTS INAUGURAL RESIDENT BLOCK PARTY THIS SATURDAY IN WEST WARD
EASTON, PA – August 3, 2015 – Easton Promise Neighborhood will host its Inaugural Resident Block Party to bring West Ward neighborhood residents together while connecting them with local public service agencies this Saturday, August 8 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on 12th Street between Northampton and Spring Garden Streets.
The free event for EPN neighborhood residents will feature partner information tables from more than 20 local non-profit groups, food and beverages for purchase, music, games for children, performances and other entertainment. It will be held rain or shine.
Highlights include:
- DJ playing music
- performances on stage
- dunk tank
- games
- food vendors
- First 100 registered adults receive a free t-shirt.
- Individuals who get their passport stamped at each partner information table will be entered in drawing for FREE raffle prizes.
Habitat for Humanity Lehigh Valley, a PNLV partner agency, is assisting with organizing the event.
Event sponsors include Lehigh Valley Health Network, St. Luke’s University Health Network, Crayola, and Lafayette Ambassador Bank.
The non-profit Promise Neighborhoods of the Lehigh Valley unites residents and leaders from various sectors to ensure the success of children from birth through career.
