Let’s Play Books Bookstore is celebrating their 4th Annual Indies First & Small Business Saturday kick-off-the-holidays event along with many local independent businesses, offering all-day fun and specials. Besides great discounts, raffles, and take-aways, Let’s Play Books is also introducing Emmaus! Pick up a “Get to Know Your Town” sheet at Let’s Play Books Bookstore, and visit new places (or your old favorites) to complete your holiday shopping. Over the next two weeks (Nov. 25 thru Dec. 10), visit listed merchants and save your receipt. For every receipt you bring to Let’s Play Books, you will receive a raffle ticket for the chance to win over $100.00 in gift cards!
On this day, authors and independent bookstores across the country celebrate INDIES FIRST – an annual celebration of authors urging their readers to BUY at INDIES FIRST!
Special guest authors: Paul Acampora, David Howard, Victoria Jamieson, David Lubar, and Mark Magro
Schedule of Events:
- 9am Doors open – early!
- 10am Story Time in the Cattic with Maddie. Enjoy coloring, puzzles and free play.
- 11am Guest bookseller Mark Magro, author of the young adult book, Surfacing.
- 1pm Author extravaganza! Meet, discuss books, get a book signed, or take a photo with one of our guest booksellers: Paul Acampora, David Howard, Victoria Jamieson, and David Lubar
- 4pm Members Reception: Let’s Play Books members old and new enjoy refreshments and free books!
