Time to search for a new photo for our Social Media accounts our current photo was provided by the winner of our first photo contest last year. Delaney’s winning photo was  of the Heritage Fly Shop on the Little Lehigh. It has served as the main photo on our Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Here are the contest rules:

1. Submit a photo you have taken of anything in the Lehigh Valley, buildings, events, sculptures, parks, anything Lehigh Valley.
2. Email your photo to info@thevalleyledger.com by 5/25/2015 Include a title for the photo, your name and valid contact information so you can be reached if you are a winner. Contact information will not be published or redistributed.
3. On 5/26/2015, all of the photos will be released on www.thevalleyledger.com for people to share their favorite photo. There is no limit to how many times anyone shares a photo. The overall winners will be selected by the top three shared photos from the website. The contest will end on 6/7/2015 at 11:59 pm. Each photo will be given its own page to share. The social media counters on the page will be used as the official counters for shares. The contest will end on Photos pages can be shared on Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
4. Prizes will be First Place a 100-dollar gift card to a local restaurant and a framed copy of the winning photo. Second place will receive a 50-dollar gift card to a local business, and third receive a 25-dollar gift card.
5. Submitting a photo gives The Valley Ledger the right to place the photo online to be used in the contest. The first place photo agrees to allow The Valley Ledger the right to use the photo as its cover photo on Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus and on the website if The Valley Ledger chooses.
6. Anyone may enter as long as they have the rights to the photo.
7. The Valley Ledger reserves the right to not publish any photo for any reason into the contest.
8. Photos will not be used on The Valley Ledger for any other reason without permission of the person who submitted the photo.
