Last night was the start of second weekend of Oktoberfest at Steel Stacks in Bethlehem. There was plenty of great polka and rock music, even alphorn performances. Performers last night included Water Street, Smokin’, Polkadelphia and The International Alphorn Ensemble. There was also a glassblowing demonstration where you can even make your own glass pumpkin. There was plenty of German and US beers to enjoy. And if you register to attend one of the Brewers’ Village sessions, you can sample more than 25 different beers including Oktoberfest brews and seasonal offerings by some of PA’s breweries (advanced tickets are required). The festival ends this Sunday. http://www.steelstacks.org/festivals/oktoberfest/
