EASTON, Pa., (September 9, 2026) –The Center for Animal Health & Welfare (CAHW) will be holding a Grand Reopening at its new subsidiary, Homestead Kennels & Cattery (Homestead), on September 12 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The event will include kennel and cattery tours, adoptable dogs from the center, dog training demonstrations, vendors, food and more.

Located at 575 Jacobsburg Rd. in Nazareth, Pa., Homestead provides boarding and grooming services for cats and dogs and has been serving clients in Nazareth and beyond for more than 40 years. CAHW purchased Homestead in February 2026.

CAHW, established in 1913, also operates an adoption facility and community vet clinic in Williams Township. The addition of Homestead allows the organization to offer more resources for adopters and pet owners while helping it sustain and grow programs that help animals find and stay in their forever homes.

“We are excited to officially reopen Homestead’s doors to its clients and our community. Homestead has allowed us to expand CAHW’s services to community pet parents while also generating new funding to strengthen our mission. Its services are still the same but now every wash, trim, and stay helps animals in need” said Rose LoPiccolo, Executive Director.
