SCHNECKSVILLE, PA (March 31, 2025) – “An individual’s path to better mental health isn’t always a straight line…”
KidsPeace has released its 2024 Annual Report, “Passport to Healing,” highlighting the organization’s impact in providing mental health services. The report features information about the various components of the organization’s “Continuum of Care” —stemming from crisis de-escalation and hospitalization to residential treatment and educational programming, outpatient services, and foster care.
The Passport theme emphasizes the idea that mental and behavioral healthcare is a journey, with young individuals experiencing different aspects of the KidsPeace Continuum of Care.
In 2024, KidsPeace served a total of 8,134 children, with nearly 9,000 episodes of care delivered (children often go through programs at multiple points of the Continuum of Care). In 2024, KidsPeace spent more than four out of every five dollars of revenue on service delivery through our programs.
The report also notes that in surveys of clients and their families, the elements of the Continuum of Care scored high marks in client satisfaction and in fulfilling the promise of the elements of the KidsPeace Model of Care (Transformation, Dignity, Safety, Relationships and Belonging, Empowerment, and Character).
The “Passport to Healing” section of the report features comments from clients and former clients on the value of the programs in which they participated, while the “Donors Make a Difference” section relays stories of how volunteer efforts and donations have helped clients on their personal journey to better mental health.
The print version of the Annual Report is accompanied by a web-based interactive infographic detailing achievements in the programs included in the Continuum of Care. Both versions can be viewed at www.kidspeace.org/2024-annual-report.
