Allentown, PA – September 9, 2024 – The Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley (PCFLV) is excited to announce its 15th Annual “Ready, Set, GOLD” 5k Walk/8k Run & Kids’ Fun Run, set for this Saturday, September 14, at the Ironton Rail Trail. Presented by Rob and Kristen Bennett, the event will kick off at the Coplay Pavilion and promises a morning filled with activities for the whole family.

Participants can look forward to an 8k run, 5k walk, kids’ fun run/obstacle course, along with raffles, music, food, merchandise, and more. Registration is still open, and over 800 people have already pre-registered for this inspiring event. On-site registration and check-in will begin at 7 a.m. on Saturday at the Coplay Pavilion.

“We are thrilled to celebrate the 15th year of this event,” said Tracy Stauffer, PCFLV’s Fundraising Manager and a parent personally touched by pediatric cancer. “As a cancer mom, I know firsthand the incredible support PCFLV provides to local families. It’s heartwarming to see our community come together for such a meaningful cause.”

This year’s event is once again proudly sponsored by Rob and Kristen Bennett, with additional support from generous sponsors including Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital, Ai Orthodontics, Structural Metal Fabricators, Top Star Express, Capital BlueCross, East Penn Self Storage, United Federal Credit Union, Red Robin, St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital, B.
