Client 1st Foundation Announces 2023 Award Recipients

The financial planner gifted a total of $10,000 to eight local charities

Fogelsville, Pa. (January 24, 2024) – Michael J. Fischer, CLU, ChFC, CASL, AIF, President and CEO of Client 1st Financial, and a member of Osaic, announced the 2023 Client 1st Foundation grant has gifted a total of $10,000 to eight local nonprofits. Clients and friends of the firm nominated recipients. The Foundation has awarded $44,000 through 78 grants since its inception in 2012.

“As a firm that advises and strongly encourages philanthropic giving, it’s important that we put our money where our mouth is,” said Fischer. “Awarding these grants to local nonprofits is not just a financial contribution; it’s a testament to our commitment to creating positive change where it matters most.”

The 2023 recipients are United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley, $2,500; Valley Youth House,

$2,500; PBS39’s Leadership Society, $1,000; Danny’s Ride, $1,000; Valor Clinic Foundation (made on behalf of Donald and Susan Warakomski), $500; Clara White (made on behalf of Felice Franklin), $500; and the Boys & Girls Club of Allentown (made on behalf of Greg and Christine Gristick), $500.

The Foundation is structured as a donor-advised fund and is independently managed by the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation. A donor-advised fund is a charitable giving vehicle created for the purpose of managing charitable donations on behalf of an organization, family, or individual.
