Look no further because you can find all of that during the first full week of March at Turning Point of Lehigh Valley’s Third Annual Virtual Spring Auction. The online auction is scheduled to open for bidding on Friday, March 3, 2023 and will close on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 4:30pm.
Now in its 3rd year, the Virtual Spring Auction started as a way for Turning Point’s Board of Directors to engage the community during the pandemic. Board President Sheila Ketterer, “Each year, we see the support of our community grow. From our Presenting Sponsors, TierPoint and the Lisa Diener Domestic Violence Foundation, to those donating and bidding on items, it is an amazing show of support. Our ability to be there for survivors when they need us is only possible because the generosity of our community.”
For 45 years, Turning Point of Lehigh Valley has been dedicated to helping survivors of domestic and intimate partner abuse. According to Executive Director Lori Sywensky, “We wish people didn’t still need us, but last year alone we helped over 3,500 people find safety and peace. I’m hopeful we will continue to grow this event so we can be there if and when survivors need us.”
