2023 Lehigh Valley Polar Plunge
to benefit Special Olympics Pennsylvania

The bright sun brought warm smiles to the 2023 Special Olympics Polar Plunge in Easton, PA. The event raised approximately $116,000 towards their goal. The top fundraising team was Wawa Lehigh Plunge and the top individual fundraiser was Samantha Ahern, according to the Special Olympics fundraising web page. Amanda Sechrist, the executive director of Team Northampton with the Regional Special Olympics was among the 1st to plunge in the event! Other teams and participants included: Bryan Coyle of the Philadelphia Police, Walmart #wolfpackgivesback, Team Caitlyn, Colonial IU20, Palisades School, Blue Eagle Swimming, Youngkins, Pen Argyl Field Hockey, Moravian Academy, Union Steel Workers (USW), Jeff Brown from Glenmoore, PA, Moravian College Alpha Sigma Alpha, Dieruff High School teachers, Dieruff High School students, Lehigh Outing Club, and many more.
