BETHLEHEM, PA–Chart-topping, platinum-selling band Daughtry, along with special guest Augustana, will rock SteelStacks when they perform at the Yuengling Golden Pilsner Concert Series Aug. 28, 7 p.m. Tickets for the performance, which takes place at Levitt Pavilion at the base of the site’s iconic blast furnaces, are $35 in advance and $39 day of show. They go on sale starting Tues., April 16, 10 a.m., to ArtsQuest Members and Fri., April 19, 10 a.m., to the public at www.musikfest.org and 610-332-3378.
Led by “American Idol” finalist Chris Daughtry, Daughtry has released five albums, all of which reached the Billboard Top Ten. Daughtry’s self-titled debut was the best-selling album of 2007, containing four Top 20 hit singles including the GRAMMY-nominated smash “It’s Not Over.” The album Leave This Town also reached number one in 2009, while 2011’s Break the Spell was certified gold and 2013’s Baptized featured the platinum-selling “Waiting for Superman.”
Performing together for over a decade, Daughtry’s most recent album is Cage to Rattle, released last summer. The recording, which featured the single “Deep End,” peaked at number 10 on the Billboard 200.
