The Allentown charter school plans to have construction of its new gymnasium completed by December 2018.
ALLENTOWN, PA – Executive Education Academy Charter School (EEACS) in Allentown, PA will host a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of its new gymnasium on Thursday, May 31st at the school. Local dignitaries have been invited to share in celebrating this new attraction. The multi-purpose gymnasium was approved by the Allentown Planning Commission on Tuesday, May 8. Construction should be completed by December 2018.
The new state-of-the-art athletics facility will hold 1,600 seats and span 16,000 square-feet. It will connect to the front of the Lehigh Valley charter school located at 555 Union Boulevard.
“This gymnasium is just the latest addition to our growing school,” says Robert Lysek, CEO of EEACS. “We hope this gym will provide countless opportunities for our students and the community as a whole.”
EEACS is currently applying to the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) so students can enroll and participate in a variety of competitive sports against other public, private, and charter schools in Allentown. Such sports may include basketball, volleyball, wrestling. floor hockey, and more.
