Congregation Launches to New Temporary Home
BETHLEHEM, PA (JANUARY 18, 2018) – FPCB-ECO, formerly First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem, which has been worshipping at 2344 Center St, Bethlehem for more than five decades, will be moving its Sunday worship services to Bethlehem Catholic High School Auditorium, 2133 Madison Avenue, Bethlehem beginning Sunday January 21.
Senior Pastor Dr. Marnie Crumpler says, “We have always been a church committed to our community and now we are launching literally into the community. We are grateful for Bethlehem Catholic High School and their open arms to our large congregation. We hope many people will come and see the excitement as we enter this next season of our congregation’s life, serving the Lehigh Valley in the name of Jesus.
Classic (Traditional) worship will be held 9 am with the Chancel Choir led by Tom Goeman. Modern (Contemporary) worship will be held at 10:30 am with the worship band.
Programs designed for children (birth – 5th grade) are available at both service times. And the Middle School program is at the 9 am hour.
A new series starts on January 28 and will focus on our need for community. Dr. Marnie Crumpler says, “People were made with a longing for belonging. Come find your place this week.”
