Sports fans of the Greater Lehigh Valley have spoken and here are their picks for Mid season Wrestlers of the Year. Ties were broken by members of the Nominating Awards Committee of the Lehigh Valley Sports Hall of Fame.
Executive director Joe Zemba said “this is the first year we have undertaken weekly and seasonal ratings of athletes and teams. We are very happy with the engagement of Greater Lehigh Valley sports fans. Our athletic parameters for induction to the LV Sports Hall of Fame and high school and collegiate awards include Pocono Mountain West to Upper Perkiomen, Phillipsburg, NJ to Fleetwood High School and all points between.
Bethlehem Catholic and Nazareth tied for most all Star wrestlers with four. Bangor, Parkland, Pennridge and Easton had three.
