Palmerton, PA – The Carbon Chamber & Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC), proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, is excited to invite the community to the 2nd Annual Palmerton Taste Trail on Saturday, June 6 from 11 AM – 4 PM throughout downtown Palmerton.
Following a successful inaugural year, the Palmerton Taste Trail returns bigger and better, bringing together local restaurants, retailers, cafés, wineries, farms, community organizations, and small businesses for a fun-filled day designed to celebrate everything that makes Palmerton unique.
This self-guided, family-friendly event invites attendees to explore downtown Palmerton with an official event passport, stopping at participating businesses to enjoy exclusive tastings, samples, specials, and experiences along the way.
“This event is all about showcasing the incredible businesses and community spirit that make Palmerton shine,” said Kylie Adams-Weiss, Senior Vice President of the Carbon Chamber & Economic Development Corporation and Palmerton resident. “Last year exceeded all expectations, and we’re excited to welcome even more visitors downtown to experience Palmerton’s local flavors, businesses, and energy.”
This year’s event will feature a wide variety of creative and delicious offerings from participating businesses throughout downtown Palmerton. Attendees can enjoy mini smoothie bowls from Boost Café, specialty cold brews and flavored lemonades from River Rock Bean + Brew, sliders from Palmerton Pub, and samples of sausages and smoked cheese from AK Farms. Additional offerings include pastries at Tranquility Spa, freeze-dried fruit and smoked nuts from JW Farms & Homestead, cupcake shots from Kupkake Kandi, kid-sized ice cream cups and cones from Claude’s Creamery, and cranberry pinwheels and salsa from Sleepy Cat Winery. Two bonus stops – The Palmerton Memorial Pool (offering a free pool pass for June 6th or 7th) and the Palmerton Fire Department (hosting their inaugural Block Party starting at 11 AM) – will round out a fun tour of the town.
In addition to food and beverages, attendees will also have the opportunity to shop local retailers, discover new businesses, and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere and community spirit that make Palmerton such a vibrant destination. Passports are currently on sale for $25 in advance and are limited in quantity. If passports remain available, day-of sales will be offered for $30 and can be purchased at the Chamber Booth, located outside of Neffs National Bank (372 Delaware Ave.).
The Palmerton Taste Trail is expected to draw visitors from throughout Carbon County and beyond, offering a unique opportunity to support local businesses while enjoying a day of food, fun, and community connection.
