Bethlehem, PA — May 30, 2026 — Active Learning Centers (ALC) will host its highly anticipated 4th Annual Summer Camp Jam on Saturday, May 30th, at Bicentennial Park – Pavilion B, located at 5351 Park West Lane, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
Beginning at 8:00 a.m., more than 100 ALC team members from across the organization will gather for an immersive day of hands-on summer camp training designed to prepare staff for an unforgettable and impactful summer experience for children and families.
The full-day training event will focus on building the energy, leadership, creativity, and preparedness that define the ALC Summer Camp experience. Staff will participate in specialized sessions covering topics including:
- Water Safety
- Park Day Activities
- Water Games
- Field Trip Procedures
- Keeping Children Engaged During Bus Rides
- Behavior Management & Positive Reinforcement
- Setting Expectations & Building Camp Culture
- Games Kids Love
- Summer Camp Martial Arts
- Team Building & Leadership Development
- And much more
Rooted in Active Learning Centers’ mission and values, the Summer Camp Jam emphasizes more than logistics and supervision, it is designed to strengthen staff culture, promote leadership, and ensure campers experience a summer filled with movement, connection, character development, and unforgettable memories.
At 2:30 p.m., enrolled campers and their families will join the event for a special interactive portion of the day, where ALC staff members will lead many of the games and activities practiced during training. Families will receive a firsthand “sneak peek” into the excitement, energy, and active learning experiences planned for the upcoming summer camp season.
“This event represents everything we believe summer camp should be, active, engaging, relationship-driven, and full of positive experiences that help children grow,” said ALC’s Vice President of Childcare, Jenna Miller. “Summer Camp Jam allows our staff to sharpen their skills while creating excitement and connection with the families we serve.”
