Congressman Mackenzie to Participate in Live CNN Town Hall

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Ryan Mackenzie, representing the Greater Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District, will participate in a nationally televised town hall hosted by CNN on Thursday, April 10 at 9:00 PM ET, alongside a bipartisan group of fellow U.S. Representatives.

Hosted in Washington, D.C. and moderated by CNN’s Jake Tapper and Kaitlan Collins, the event will bring together lawmakers from both parties to answer questions from a live audience made up of Democrats, Republicans, and Independents — including constituents from each member’s district. Joining Congressman Mackenzie will be Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY), Rep. Jahana Hayes (D-CT), and Rep. Derek Tran (D-CA).

“I’m looking forward to joining my colleagues on both sides to answer questions and discuss the leading issues of the day,” said Congressman Mackenzie. “We live in divided times, and it’s critical that we be able to come together to speak openly and honestly about the issues affecting Americans here in the Greater Lehigh Valley and throughout the country. I’m hopeful that we can cut through the noise and talk about delivering real, bipartisan solutions for the people.”

Congressman Mackenzie has made community outreach and accessibility a cornerstone of his service, dating back to his time as a Pennsylvania State Representative. In just over three months since taking office, he’s opened four district offices, attended numerous public events, and is regularly meeting with constituents to hear from them directly. This will mark the Congressman’s 2nd town hall in three weeks.
