These monthly events, focused on accessibility and support for the local arts, are free and open to the public.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Banana Factory, operated by ArtsQuest, is now offering a variety of classes and party options for all ages. Whether you are looking to spark your creativity during the week or on the weekend, there are classes for everyone at every skill level.

“The Banana Factory is ArtsQuest’s hub for visual arts and education,” said Lisa Harms, ArtsQuest’s Senior Director of Visual Arts and Education. “As a community art center, we offer a wide range of programs for all ages and abilities. From early childhood art and music classes to multi-week studio intensives, there is something for everyone. You can also get creative with the whole family in our Creative Family Workshop series. Financial assistance is available for all of our classes.”

In addition to classes, the Banana Factory is also a great place to host birthday art parties, where kids can have fun with their friends while crafting in many forms. • Adult Classes: Glassmaking, photography, ceramics, jewels, fiber arts, drawing and painting. *Classes for adults of all skill levels*
• Children Classes: Drawing, painting, clay-making, yoga and video game console basics and story-making. The Banana Factory offers after-school classes in the arts for children and teens. From independent, to parent and child workshops, these classes help students find inspiration in their work and help them to learn more about arts and culture.
• Teambuilding: Taught by resident artists, activities are geared toward bringing people together through a creative outlet to inspire communication, creativity, excitement and collaboration. Classes include glassmaking, printmaking, creating mosaics, pen and ink drawing and more.
• Birthday Art Party: Children will work with our professional teaching artists on high-quality art projects. Each child takes home their own unique masterpiece. The Banana Factory Arts Center provides the space, instruction and all supplies necessary for a crafty birthday.

ArtsQuest presents a wide variety of visual arts classes for all skill levels, as well as virtual workshops. The Banana Factory Arts Center has 28 studios which are all rent subsidized, enabling artists to afford a space to create their work.
