Funds to Help Provide More Meals
Bethlehem, PA (July 22, 2021) – Meals on Wheels of the Greater Lehigh Valley (MOWGLV) is pleased to announce it has received a $4,000 grant from the PPL Foundation. These funds will support the Meal Delivery program. This grant will help to provide more meals for homebound seniors who need them, but who cannot afford meals.
MOWGLV’s CEO, Vicki Coyle is humbled by this generous grant award. “Meals on Wheels has been serving Lehigh Valley seniors for 50 years. Those who started this program had great vision, and we are grateful to PPL for recognizing the value of our services and for helping us to serve our vulnerable clients”.
The PPL Foundation awards annual grants through a competitive application and review process.
