The Allentown Recycling Bureau’s Earth Day in the Park will create awareness about environmental protection while bringing community members together to celebrate Earth Day and have some fun.
The second annual event takes place on Saturday, April 13 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at Jordan Park. It is free and open to the public.
Attendees can listen to live music from 99.9 The Hawk. Participants can enjoy crafts, activities, games, educational demonstrations, The Hawk’s prize wheel and more and have a chance at prizes from a free entrance raffle!
Food will be sold on site by the Sticky Pig, Moore’s Fresh Cut fries, V & C Concession and Snowie Allentown.
Youngsters can climb aboard a fire truck, garbage truck and various construction vehicles. They can see how these vehicles perform and talk to employees who operate them with our “Touch a Truck.”
