Meeting Will Feature Effective Techniques for Policymakers and Community Partners to Prevent and Redress Blight
(Allentown, PA)- On April 17th, at 9:30 A.M. Lehigh County’s Congress of Governments and Blight Action Team will hold a Blight Remediation seminar.
The seminar is entitled: Carrots versus Sticks: Positive Approaches that Can Work to Address Blight and Obtain Code Compliance.
The presentation will focus on creative approaches for educating, motivating, and incentivizing people who own properties to do the right thing. In addition, it will detail with strategies for owners of rental properties, individuals on fixed incomes and persons with mental health disabilities.
