Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) announces plans to begin participating with AblePay Health.

Bethlehem, PA.  July 9, 2018Lehigh Valley Health Network, treating patients throughout the greater Lehigh Valley, as well as Monroe, Luzerne and Schuylkill counties, announced today that it will begin participating with AblePay Health effective July 1, 2018.

The AblePay Health agreement includes the LVHN eight hospital campuses – three in Allentown including the region’s only facility dedicated to orthopedic surgery, one in Bethlehem, one in East Stroudsburg, one in Hazleton and two in Pottsville, PA.

The Lehigh Valley Physician Group (LVPG) will also participate and is among the largest medical groups in the United States with more than 700 physicians and more than 300 advanced practice clinicians.

“We are excited to add LVHN to our providers in the Lehigh Valley,” said John Fistner, Founder and CEO.  “Our cash flow model accelerates revenue and cuts costs associated with collecting out-of-pocket payments.  By offering AblePay as a no-cost benefit to the Lehigh Valley community, we expect continued adoption from employers, employees, and individuals as result of the discounts and payment flexibility we provide for these health-related expenses.”

“LVHN understands the difficulties many patients have in paying their medical expenses in today’s challenging health care environment,” said Jeffrey Hinkle, Vice President, Patient Financial Services, LVHN. “We have always provided care to everyone who comes to us and offer options to help them afford their care. We feel this partnership with AblePay provides another way to help them do that.”
