The City of Allentown is partnering with community leaders in Allentown to bring together a calendar of events marking Black History Month throughout the city.

The website is hosted at www.allentownpa.gov/blackhistorymonth, and shows a total of eight events being held in Allentown throughout the month of February that are related to observing Black History Month.

Black History Month was established in 1976 to mark an annual celebration of African American achievements throughout history.

If you have an event to add to the calendar, please submit it to events@allentownpa.gov or call the Department of Parks & Recreation at 610-437-7750.
