Meet the Artist Reception

BETHLEHEM, PA (IMMEDIATE RELEASE) — A series of large color saturated paintings by artist Tina Cantelmi will be on exhibit December 8, through March 9, at Musselman Fine Jewelers, 420 Main Street Bethlehem, PA.  A meet the artist reception is slated for Saturday, December 9 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The exhibit of nine canvases meld a fervent, optimistic color palette. A native of Bethlehem, Cantelmi earned a BFA from the NY State College of Ceramics at Alfred University, Alfred, NY.  Her work is in private and corporate collections from Boston to Miami, the Lehigh Valley, Seattle and Brooklyn.

“I prefer to paint large abstract landscapes that allow the viewer’s imagination to travel to a place or time. My choice of a cheery, color charged palette and spirited nuances is meant to uplift the viewer,” says Cantelmi.

A former fashion editor and feature writer, the artist says the aesthetics of fashion continue to inspire her creative process today.
