Citizen Cope, Foreigner Tribute, Holiday Concerts & More Announced for Musikfest Café at SteelStacks
BETHLEHEM, PA – Acclaimed indie artist Citizen Cope, Foreigner tribute Hot Blooded and holiday concerts by Twelve Twenty-Four and Rob Stoneback are among the eight new performances announced for the ArtsQuest Center’s Musikfest Café presented by Yuengling, located at 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem. Tickets for the shows go on sale Tues., Sept. 5, 10 a.m., to ArtsQuest Members and Fri., Sept. 8, 10 a.m., to the public at www.steelstacks.org and 610-332-3378.
On Nov. 2, 8 p.m., the Musikfest Café presented by Yuengling welcomes the one and only Citizen Cope for an intimate solo acoustic show. Born Clarence Greenwood, Citizen Cope is known for his eclectic mix of blues, laid-back rock, soul and folk. He has developed a large and profoundly dedicated following, built over the past 15 years of touring due to solid word of mouth. Cope’s compositions have been recorded by artists as varied as Carlos Santana, Dido and Richie Havens. Tickets for his show are $35-$40.
Established in 2002, Twelve Twenty-Four presents a high energy, full-scale holiday rock orchestra concert featuring everyone’s favorite rock-edged holiday music, as well as their own holiday creations. Inspired by the music and stage presentation of some of music’s greatest rock orchestras, the ensemble includes a six-piece rock band, multi-piece string section and a variety of vocalists.
Twelve Twenty-Four will perform holiday classics, as well as songs from its 2012 release, “Light in the Dark,” and 2010 debut CD, “Miracle on Rock Street.” Tickets for the show, which takes place Dec. 16, 7:30 p.m., at the Musikfest Café, are $25-$32.
