(September 9, 2026- Bethlehem) – Senator Lisa Boscola announced today that four Lehigh Valley nonprofit organizations have been awarded funding totaling $1,610,259 from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) for crime victims’ services.

“Victims of violent crimes deserve services both inside and outside the courtroom that allow them to seek justice and allow them to recover, both physically and emotionally, from the trauma brought upon them,” Senator Boscola stated.  “These grant funds will provide organizations with proven crime victim service programs to meet their needs.”

Funding awarded for crime victim programs serving Northampton County include:

• Crime Victims Council of Lehigh Valley, Inc. – Victim Services in Lehigh and Northampton Counties, $685,425
• Turning Point of the Lehigh Valley – Domestic Violence Services Lehigh and Northampton Counties, $605,292
• Valley Youth House Committee – Mobile Trauma Focused Services 2025-2027, $192,660
• North Penn Legal Services – NPLS Emergency Legal Services Project, $126,882

The funds awarded today by PCCD are via the Federal Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) Funds.
