The Villanova Wildcats were able withstand a second half rally by the Lehigh Mountain Hawks to win the season opener at Lehigh’s Goodman Stadium. Lehigh got within three points with 4:58 left in the game but Villanova was able to hang on to the ball and run the clock out.
