VPCC TO HOST ’18 USA CYCLING MASTERS, JUNIORS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
CHAMPIONSHIPS SET TO RUN JULY 7-15
TREXLERTOWN, Pa. – After a year off of the national championship stage, the Valley Preferred Cycling Center returns as it is the host for the 2018 USA Cycling Masters and Juniors National Championships, VPCC executive director Marty Nothstein announced early Tuesday morning. The championships are set for July 7-15 in T-Town.
“We are excited to have both the masters and juniors here in T-Town next year,” said Nothstein. “We look forward to having riders from all over the country come and compete in July after having riders from all over the world compete on our track in June.”
The VPCC last hosted a national championship back in 2016 when it hosted the Junior and Elite National Championships in the end of July. This is the first time the masters will compete for national championships in T-Town since 2011.
Much like nationals a year ago in T-Town, the championships are to be part of the 2018 World Series of Bicycling. The complete 2018 WSB race schedule will be released later this off-season.
