Join Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor for Celebrate Trails Day at the boat launch in Riverview Park in East Penn Township from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on April 26 to clean up the D&L Trail. Together, we’ll remove litter and clear vegetation along the trail heading south towards Lehigh Gap Nature Center. Rain Date is Sunday 4/27/2024. Minimum age 16 with adult. On Saturday, May 10th, 2025, The Salvation Army Foster Care & Adoption Services will host the 14th annual Rock N’ Run at Coca-Cola Park in Allentown, to raise awareness and support children in foster care. The event includes a 5K, 5 Mile and Kids Fun Run and is run exclusively by volunteers and agency staff. Volunteers are needed from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon for many stations. Wildlands Conservancy’s Stream Team maintains tree and shrub planting sites established to protect water quality and create habitat along the Lehigh Valley’s waterways.
